Eldercare innovation hub

In 2014, EldersTogether’s predecessor, Assisted Transitions Inc., opened in Berkeley providing residential care facility placement services and eldercare consumer advocacy. Throughout the next decade, we evaluated nearly 100 facilities across the San Francisco Bay Area, including residential care homes, adult day care centers, senior community centers, and home care providers.

Starting in 2016, inspired by the chance to engage and delight caregivers and elders through digital technology and non-pharmaceutical approaches to symptom management, we began conducting activity workshops and presentations on elder-savvy VR, AR, and smart home design at leading senior living communities.

We’re happy to share some of the resources we created to support individuals and families during their care transitions.
